Import VAT and declaration
All goods entering the EU require an import declaration. For IOSS consignments up to EUR 150, VAT is treated as paid at purchase only when valid IOSS data reaches the postal customs message.

From 1 July 2026, the EU applies a temporary EUR 3 customs duty by tariff classification, not physical quantity, on distance sales in consignments up to EUR 150, until 1 July 2028. Recheck the rule before shipping.
